This policy explains what personal information SMA Innovations (“we”, “us”) collects through smainnovations.com, why, and what rights you have. If you have any questions, email info@smainnovations.com.
What we collect
When you send a quote request, we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (if given), your website and the information you give us about your business and your project. Our web server also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a meeting and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We don’t sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that run this website and our email — our web host and email provider — and only so they can provide those services. The quote form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which processes information about your device and browsing to check you’re not a bot; Google’s privacy policy applies to that.
How long we keep it
If we don’t go on to work together, we delete enquiry details within 24 months. If we do, we keep project records for as long as we need them for the contract and for legal and accounting requirements.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@smainnovations.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and for spam protection on the quote form. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
