Built by an engineer who works on his own Land Rover.
SMA Innovations is a small studio run by Andrey Sachkov. We build mobile shop apps and make commercial media for engineering and vehicle-parts businesses.
Why apps and media?
I drive a 2002 Defender 110 TD5 and build a lot of my own kit for it — electronics, control systems, drivetrain parts. That puts me on the same side of the counter as your customers: I know what it’s like to need the right part for one specific vehicle.
My background is mechatronics and control engineering. I build vehicle electronics, firmware and the iOS apps that go with them, and I film and photograph hotels, schools, companies and action sports. SMA Innovations puts both to work for the businesses I buy from: apps that understand what customers drive, and media that shows why your product is worth it.
How we work
- You deal with me directly. The person you meet is the person who builds your app or shoots your film.
- We learn your business first. Before designing anything, I want to know how you sell, what fits what, and what your customers ask on the phone.
- Small, and straight about it. When a job needs more hands, I bring in trusted specialists and tell you who they are.
- You own the result. Your app, your App Store listing, your footage, your customer data.
